The overall objectives of the project are the following:

  •  Explore the DaaS concept with end users and create first architecture:

                The objective addresses the exploration of the DaaS problem statement with the end users to:
               (1) extract end user requirements and
               (2) detailed formulation of the DaaS concept

              Based on a first analysis of the end user requirements and DaaS concept a first architecture for the DaaS platform will be created.

  • Analyse the DaaS platform requirements:

              The objective is to analyse the DaaS platform requirements from an end user perspective taking into account the current state of the art and the identified business model   concept.

  • Specify the DaaS platform

              The objective is to achieve a detailed specification of the DaaS platform, taking into account:
              (1) the business model concept
              (2) the DaaS platform requirement analysis
              (3) the module requirements
              (4) the current state of the art

  • Develop an integrated DaaS platform

             The objective is to develop an integrated DaaS platform that:
            (1) is tested in the lab environment
            (2) includes the DaaS platform modules:
                   (a) Profiling module
                   (b) Quantification module
                   (c) Analysis and Dashboard modules
                  (d) Consumption Prediction module

  • Validate and Demonstrate the DaaS platform and business model

          The objective is to validate and demonstrate the DaaS platform and business model in 3 pilot sites and profile types:
                   (1) Eibar for street lighting
                   (2) Kalundborg for residential homes and EV charging stations
                   (3) Barcelona for street‐shops
